Parrot Polish Welcome to the Jungle Review and Swatches

Hi friends,
Here I am with my new Parrot Polish neon collection 'Welcome to the Jungle'. These are some extraordinary neons because they not only are awesome neons, but they are great for water marbles(see my previous post) and they stamp too! These polishes shine bright in sunlight and cameras can capture the effect very easily- these are so bright that they actually make your skin look a little dark. They don't lose their brightness even after a water marble.

They don't have your usual matte or gloss finish but have a unique satin or semi-matte effect. I haven't used any topcoat in the following pics so that the satin effect can be observed. They also have very subtle shimmer in them that can't be captured easily in my camera.

The pics below have been clicked with two coats of polish and no top coat and in natural daylight. No basecoat either because they are quite opaque by themselves. I have also stamped the image from BM-S165 to show how perfectly they stamp. The gradient stamping is from Lina 4 Season Autumn-01. Have a look:

1.) Pit Viper Yellow: First up is the most neon shade in the collection. It is a bright fluorescent yellow shade with a touch of green. The formula is neither too thick nor too runny. It ain't streaky like those other neons, two coats are good for full opaqueness.

2.) Gecko Green: Your bright neon green shade. The silvery shimmer looks great with the green in person. Application was not at all a problem!

3.) Orangutan Orange: Gives a tough competition to Pit Viper in terms of neon effect. A light fluorescent orange shade, this polish literally glows in light, be it sunlight or regular light.

4.) Piranha Pink: One of the most difficult polishes to capture. This is a traditional bright pink that looks so good on darker skin tones, its kind of a neon bubblegum pink but looks so different on screen..

5.) Baboon Blue: This one has the most shimmer particles of them all and is the smoothest to apply. Became fully opaque in just two coats.

6.) Bloom Tarantula Purple: I hate tarantulas but I'm in love with this shade. It has a perfect balance between purple and violet, and is one of my favourite purples. You have get it out in a little light to see the neon effect. The formula is great for application.

Conclusion: Whether you're a neon lover or not (I am!), it is one of the few collection every nail art lover must have! Who knows it might come in handy when you want to do a sunny bright summer nail art? The best collection for party themed nails too! You might need sunglasses if you are going out on a beach with them. Great work Parrot Polish!

I would also like to add that the bottle shape of Parrot Polishes is so comfortable. It fits in any kind of holder easily and being cubicle it can also be arranged in a little space much more effectively. The plain transparent glass corners also give it an elegant look and is quite strong too.

Thank you buddies for reading and please share your views about the collection in the comments section! Have a nice day!☺

  2. Neons are a bit hard to find here, but the Orangutan Orange shade are my favourite from the whole collection. It reminds me to the first shade of polish that i used way back!
