Zoya Whispers Transitional 2016 Collection Review And Swatches....

Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a good winter. Its about time to say goodbye to the winters and welcome the spring, and it is also the time to welcome the new Zoya Whispers Transitional 2016 Collection. This collection features 6 pastel transitional shades, and each gives the feeling of transition of fading winter to early spring.

Here are the swatches:

Zoya April: A nude shade which is a little more pinker than the other shades. It has a good formula, I applied two coats. Gives full opacity in two coats.
"a light, rosy toned neutral that is a modern take on blush."- as described by Zoya.

Zoya Cala: It seems a bit sheer in two coats and becomes heavy/patchy in three coats which makes it quite problematic to apply.
" a soft nude with a kiss of warmth that will flatter most skin tones."- as described by Zoya.

Zoya Lake: It is a perfect blend of soft grey and blue. Becomes opaque in two coats and quite easy to apply.
"a softened blue that gives the effect of serene water with just a hint of vibrancy to preserve its luminosity."- as described by Zoya.

Zoya Misty: A natural brown with an unnoticeable touch of olive green. Perfectly opaque in two coats. Although Zoya has described the polish having a touch of green but I didn't get it.
"an easy to wear taupe that is an updated version of gray with just a touch of green to make it daring." - as described by Zoya.

Zoya Ireland: Much like Zoya Misty but with a more dominant green shade. A two coater polish.
"a uniquely wearable green that is muted enough to make it subtle yet interesting.  This green is well balanced between blue & yellow so it's flattering on all skin tones." - as described by Zoya.

Zoya Eastyn: A very subtle purple with a gray undertone. Also a two coater.
“a subtle grayed grape that is more interesting than mauve and gives a modern alternative that is ever so wearable.” - as described by Zoya.

Thank you all for reading this post and please comment if you like....:)

*P.S.: All the polishes were sent to me for review and this post is based on my 100% honest opinion..

  1. I personally like them better with top coat the way that you've shown them.
