Hello Buddies
Here if my first December Nail Art for the FB group "The Digit-al Dozen". December is a month for which there are a hundred of ideas available to choose from: winter manis, Christmas manis, snow manis and mani more. So for day one I chose to do a nail art based on the theme 'sweater'.
For this mani, instead of going with the regular sweater mani ideas, I selected a new idea which came up better than I had expected. I stamped the image using holo powder instead of stamping polishes! Read on for the process:
You can see the detailed process in the video tutorial. You simply have to follow the normal procedure you do while stamping, the only change is instead of using stamping polish, apply a coat of clear polish on the stamping plate, spread some holographic/chrome/mirror powder on the polish with a brush, and then scrape off the excess. You need to be quick otherwise the polish would become thick and the required result wouldn't be obtained. Then pick up the image using stamper and stamp as you usually do. See! its that simple.
The base in the mani is Zoya Dovima/Matte, the holo powder is from Born Pretty Store and the clear polish is from my nearby local market. The top coat is Glisten&Glow. The stamping plate is Moyou London - Fashionista Collection 015.
